Here are the major PTA event dates for the first half of the school year. Please mark your calendar and support the school as much as you can!
Curriculum Night – This is when the teachers go over their program for the year. It’s usually a presentation, so it’s not something you can just pop into. Pretty important to attend so that you understand the structure of the classroom, the year, and how your teacher works.
Glenwood Night Out – Each month we pick a restaurant, and they donate a portion of the proceeds from that evening to the PTA. The percentage varies by restaurant. Some donate a portion of all proceeds, others request that you specify Glenwood, and they donate a portion of the Glenwood audience purchases.
Fall Dance Party – This is your chance to see all the kids in action, all dressed up. Super fun event.
Scholastic Book Fair – A great time to get some new books. We will need lots of volunteers to help this run smoothly, so let us know if you can block out some time on one of those dates.
