Field day is back! The whole school gets to participate, for half a day, in games and experiences run by volunteer parents and our amazing PE coaches, Diane Vetter and Casey Goodwin.
Field Day K-2: Monday, June 7th from 8:10am to 10:45am
Field Day 3-5: Monday, June 7th from 11:15am to 1:30pm
Rain Day: Tuesday, June 8th
Field Day Volunteers Needed
- Grades 3-5 General Parent Volunteers: Volunteer Here
- Grades K-2 General Parents: All Volunteer Spots Are Filled! Thank you!
- Salsa Dance Volunteers: Is salsa dancing a part of your culture? Can you teach a group of excited children a few steps? Total instruction time per group is seven minutes. If you have these skills, please contact Coach Vetter at vetter@chccs.k12.nc.us
- STEAM Water Rocket Launch Volunteers: Do you love STEAM? Can you follow these YouTube instructions and build two simple rocket launchers using bicycle pumps? Coach Vetter has done this activity at previous field days and the students love it. Rocket Launch Video #1 and Rocket Launch Video #2
