Fall is Coming!
Fall is coming, along with its beautiful weather! My household is very happy to say goodbye to hot, humid, and sticky bus rides and blacktop lunches. My children are in school! They are making friends! They are learning! They love their teachers! They are spending hours outside. I have (mostly) figured out our new rhythms and routines. Tonight, I celebrated another “day done” with a cup of hot tea, and then realized I missed my sixth grader’s virtual open house. Oops.
Happy early fall to you and best wishes to mastering your own back-to-school rhythm and routine.

秋天来了！
秋天来了，伴随着美好的天气！我的家人很高兴告别炎热、潮湿、黏糊糊的公交车和炙热的午餐。我的孩子们上学了！他们在交朋友！他们在学习！他们爱他们的老师！他们在户外度过几个小时。我（基本上）已经弄清楚了我们的新节奏和惯例。今晚，我用一杯热茶庆祝又一个“结束的一天”，然后意识到我错过了我六年级学生的虚拟开放日。哎。
